A new video, using time lapse cameras, of Betty’s return to St John’s.
On Sunday Betty took over from the imposter at the end of the first verse of the first hymn. It’s great to have a member of the family back with us.
A prayer of thanksgiving for Betty’s restoration:
O Lord Jesus Christ, who before your dying and being resurrected sang a hymn of praise with your disciples, we thank you for the safe return of Betty, who has also been resurrected from her perished state. As we are stirred up by Betty’s uniting of many voices together in one song, so may the Holy Spirit unite us with you in songs of praise and glory to God the Father Almighty. Amen.
This week Betty spoke for the first time since re-installed. An eerie groan back into life as some of the pedal pipes were played.
Encounters of the Third Kind in Hyde Park!
As Betty begins to return to St John’s – here is a chance to see how she left the building.
This was created by a student who has been attached to the programme to help Save Betty. It features the project Animateur, Mark James, and St John’s Hyde Park Organist, Nick Miller.
